Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Fin!
As one of the military moms on the panel, I’d like to thank you for your service to our country. My military family loves to spend our together time at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
There are several excellent military discounts available for 2020 visits to the Walt Disney World Resort. I encourage you to read the fine print on each one regarding eligibility, as it can be confusing. Generally speaking, “eligible service members” are active duty or retired, with a valid and active U.S. military ID.
For 2020, there are three discounts you won’t want to miss if you are an eligible retired veteran. The
Military Promotional Theme Park Tickets offer fantastic pricing for 4- and 5-day tickets. There are also limited
military discounts on Walt Disney World Resort hotel rooms; you’ll need to call the Disney Reservations Center at (407) 939-1936 to ask about availability and pricing for your vacation dates. The military rate for
Memory Maker is $98 for 2020 (subject to change) and can be purchased when you arrive at Guest Relations. Be sure to bring your military ID with you on vacation as you’ll need to present it when taking advantage of these discounts.
If you are a non-retired veteran, my advice is to call
Shades of Green, which is the resort located on Walt Disney World property for military members and their families. Their staff are very knowledgeable about eligibility and can point you in the direction of any discounts for which you may be eligible. You may even be eligible to stay there – it has a great location right across from Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, large rooms, and even an exchange right on property!
I also encourage you to take a look at the
Special Offers and Discounts available; sometimes we find deals that are even better than our military discounts! Offers change frequently, so keep checking.
Fin, I hope this trail of pixie dust helps you find the perfect discounts for your military family. If you have further questions, come on back and see us!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
