Is there any discount for people over the age of 80 (my 83 year old mother) and/or for a person (my brother) who is 49 but has Down Syndrome and will not be riding on many rides? Want them to join my fam but cant afford tickets for all.

    Hiya, Kristin!

I’m so glad you are planning a visit to Disneyland Resort. I understand that budgeting can seem a little overwhelming. I’d love to help with some pointers for finding the best deals to make that special visit possible.

The first place to start is the Offers & Discounts page on the Disneyland Resort website. These offers frequently change. So keep checking back. From time to time, Disneyland Resort may offer special ticket rates. For example, earlier this year, a special ticket offer for Southern California residents was made available. Be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for announcements of new offers.

My preferred way to budget for our family visits to Disneyland Resort is to collect Disney Gift Cards. I usually purchase them at a discount from local retailers or discount warehouse clubs. These convenient cards can be used for theme park tickets, Disneyland Resort Vacation Packages or Disneyland Resort Hotel stays, dining and shopping.

Finally, group discounts may be made available to certain organizations. You may check with certain non-profits. For example, senior citizen centers, community centers, or other groups you or your family may be associated with may have programs or opportunities for lower-cost visits to Disneyland Resort.

During your visit to Disneyland Resort, I’m certain you will find entertainment, attractions, and more that are well-suited for your entire family. Disneyland Resort also offers accommodations for guests with disabilities. Services such as Disability Access Service and Rider Switch can help make your visit smooth and enjoyable for everybody.

I hope you have a magical time at Disneyland Resort soon, Kristin! Please stop by the Disney Parks Moms Panel again if you have any more questions.
