Welcome to planDisney, Dara! How exciting that you will be bringing a group of talented dancers to compete at UDA Nationals next month! As a teacher and dance mom myself, I understand the logistics and effort that goes into organizing group travel, so I'm happy to try to point you to some helpful information about visiting Magic Kingdom Park during your upcoming trip!
Dara, the Walt Disney World Resort does offer
Student Group Tickets through
Disney Imagination Campus for groups of 10 or more, including Starter Student Tickets for standard theme park admission, as well as options for Park Hopper Tickets with and without the Water Park and Sports Option. While prices are subject to change, you can find more
information here about the 2023 student ticket options and pricing. My best advice is to complete the form available online or call the phone number provided on the Student Group Tickets page to speak with a Disney Cast Member who can assist you in securing your group tickets.
Dara, if you do take your group to
Magic Kingdom Park, be sure everyone creates a
My Disney Experience account and downloads the
My Disney Experience mobile app before your arrival. This app will allow your group members to take advantage of viewing wait times, park maps, and
PhotoPass photos taken throughout the park as well as Mobile Ordering meals and snacks and securing a spot in the
Virtual Queue for the newest thrill ride,
TRON Lightcycle/Run!
I'd also recommend stopping by at Guest Relations on your way into the park and getting the team complimentary I'm Celebrating buttons to showcase their accomplishment competing at NDA Nationals! And don't forget to get that iconic team photo in front of Cinderella Castle!
I hope this has been helpful, and you come back to see us again real soon if you have any more vacation planning questions! Good luck to your team at Nationals; go make some magic on and off the dance floor!
