Hi Sandra! Welcome to planDisney.
It's always a pleasure to chat with a fellow Virginian, and we have something extra in common because my family is also a military family. Thank you for your service to our country, and I'm so glad you've chosen the Walt Disney World Resort for your vacation. It's always my go-to destination for magical R&R.
I'm happy to confirm that there is a special price for Memory Maker available to active and retired members of the U.S. Military.
Through December 17, 2021, Memory Maker can be purchased for $98. This promotion cannot be purchased in advance; you'll just need to stop by a
Guest Relations location outside a theme park or in Disney Springs to show your valid military ID and purchase Memory Maker.
If you're going in the morning of your first park day (that's usually what my family does), I recommend having one person stand in the Guest Relations line to purchase Memory Maker and the rest of the party go ahead into the parks. My Mousketeers are too full of excitement to wait, so we find it's just easier to catch up with the group. Just make sure the person purchasing has their military ID with them.
Sandra, if your visit is planned for after the current offer's expiration date, not to worry. We are still waiting for 2022 military discounts to be announced; while they are never guaranteed, they have been offered consistently for the past several years. Keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog and the
Special Offers webpage for an announcement; the Memory Maker discount is usually included on the Military Promotional Theme Park Ticket promotion offer details.
There are so many extra-special Magic Shots available as part of
The World's Most Magical Celebration, so be sure to ask your PhotoPass photographer if they have any Magic Shots available. Check out the
@planDisneyPanel Instagram page to see some current Magic Shots and for lots of fun coverage of treats and experiences available around Walt Disney World Resort. We're all EARS if you have any further questions!
Wishing you much magic,
Robyn
