    How do you get discount on magic bands through the Disney experience app for an upcoming trip?

    Hello Angela, and welcome to planDisney! I hope you had a magical day, and I’m so glad you're here.

    Unfortunately, there is no longer a discount on MagicBands for Walt Disney World Resort hotel guests, as that perk was discontinued in late 2025. However, there are plenty of other special offers available, so I recommend checking the latest deals to get the best value for your stay! You can still personalize your MagicBand through your My Disney Experience account. I love having my family's name on ours!

    If you decide to purchase a MagicBand, simply log in to your Walt Disney World account and select 'My MagicBands and Cards' under My Disney Experience. Click 'Get Started' and follow the prompts. Don't forget to allow enough shipping time for your MagicBands to arrive at least eleven days before your vacation!

    If you prefer not to use a MagicBand, I recommend trying MagicMobile on your phone for convenient access. Personally, I like to get a Key to the World Card for my kids, especially since they've lost a few MagicBands over the years! These can be picked up from a Cast Member at your Resort hotel during check-in.
