Walt Disney World Resort is the ultimate vacation destination for both children and adults. There really is something for everyone to enjoy. I am the mom of a large family that includes children with varying needs and abilities, and we visit the Disney theme parks regularly. While there is currently no discount offered for children with disabilities, I think you'll find Walt Disney World to be very accommodating, so let's talk about it.
I recommend you start with
Disney's Guests with Disabilities Overview page. It has all the information you'll need to plan every detail. If you think your child will need a
Disability Access Service pass, you can register for a live video chat with a Cast Member to discuss their eligibility. Something very helpful for my family is the
Sensory Experience Details for Guests with Disabilities Guide. It helps us be prepared for anything that might be challenging for my daughter.
If you're looking to save some money (and aren't we all?), keep an eye on the
Special Offers, Packages, and More page. There are often some pretty good deals, and at least one will likely apply to your travel dates. You can always book your trip, and then, if an offer becomes available, call
Walt Disney World Tickets and Hotel Reservations to have it applied to your package.
