Hi there Alyssa! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney! Planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation with a budget in mind is a great start! While there are not any discounts provided for those receiving government assistance, I can definitely provide you with some budget-friendly tips that might make your vacation dreaming come true!
Let’s start with finding a Walt Disney World Resort hotel! There are several resort hotels in the budget-friendly
value category. I recommend that you take a look at booking Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort, Disney’s All-Star Music Resort, or Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort! These resorts are owned and operated by the Walt Disney World Resort and include transportation to and from the theme parks during your vacation!
Next, be selective with how many days you book and which parks you plan on visiting. There are four Disney Parks, but perhaps your group is only interested in visiting one or two instead of all four. I encourage you to visit the website for each park. Take time to explore all four parks online and then decide which parks are “must dos” for your group and which parks could wait for a future visit.
Alyssa, if you decide to visit two parks, you can probably get away with visiting one park per day during your vacation thus limiting the number of nights that you need to book at the hotel. For example, if you plan on visiting Magic Kingdom Park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you can probably plan a three-day, two-night vacation!
Finally, Alyssa, I encourage you to check the Special Offers page on the Walt Disney World Resort website! You’ll find money-saving deals throughout the year. Even the budget-friendly value resorts often have reduced prices when special offers are made available! In fact, there is a special offer right now that includes
10% off the value-priced Disney’s All-Star Movies and All-Star Music Resorts! That current offer is available for most stays through September 29, 2021! Check it out!
