How much of a discount does a Florida resident get for grandchildren’s tickets?

Hi there, Joan, and welcome to planDisney! I couldn't be happier that you're here today! My Panelist pals and I are always happy to answer questions from our fellow Guests. It sounds like you're planning an exciting vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!

Joan, you'll be happy to know that there are a variety of ticket offers for Florida Residents, including specially-priced Annual Passes. Depending on the type of ticket needed, there might be a Special Offer that would save a grandparent a decent amount of money on Disney Theme Park tickets for a grandchild. Head on over to the Florida Resident ticket page for all of the details. One of my favorite offers includes 40% savings on a 4-Day Ticket, so you'll have to check that out! Depending on the date and type of ticket you choose, your price will change. Happily, you can see all pricing online before you check out. It's important to note that all Guests 18 and older will be asked to show proof of Florida Residency to activate their ticket. This can be done online ahead of time or once you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort.

Traveling to the Most Magical Place on Earth with a multi-generational group is so much fun! My kids love it when their grandparents vacation with us, and we love finding a Disney Resorts Collection hotel room where we can all stay together. Families of up to six can take advantage of the spacious Family Suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. These rooms offer a living area with pull-out sofa bed, a pull-down bed, kitchenette, and a full bathroom, as well as a completely separate bedroom with its own bathroom for added convenience and privacy. If you're planning on spending time relaxing in your hotel room, or would like to be able to cook or do laundry during your vacation, you might enjoy a 1-, 2-, or 3-Bedroom Villa. These types of rooms offer lots of thoughtful storage space, a full kitchen (with full-sized appliances), a washer and dryer, a large living area, and at least one separate bedroom. It's so nice to be able to put the kids to bed and still have quality time with the other adults without having to leave our hotel room!

Joan, I hope this is helpful as you plan your visit. Please stop back by planDisney with any other questions you have as you make your travel arrangements.

    See you real soon!
