Can you get a discount on ECV rental if you pay for multiple days at once? I read multiple day discounts are given for wheelchair use. My mom is thinking of going but would need to use a scooter in the park. Thanks!

    Hi Jennifer,

As far as I know, Walt Disney World does not offer discounts for multiple day rentals of scooters.  Scooters can be rented inside the parks and at downtown Disney, but they cannot be taken out of the parks.  For a current rental information, click HERE.

You might want to try renting from an outside company.  One that is popular can be found at CareMedicalEquipment.com.  There daily rates are slightly less expensive and they offer a discount on weekly rentals.  Some advantages to this option are:

    • your ECV can be waiting for you when you arrive at your resort
    • you have the scooter in the parks as well as around the resort area
    • you are assured of having a scooter even if the parks run out for the day
The one disadvantage might be that you will have to transport your scooter to the parks.  This means that you will have to wait for handicap accessible buses and be able to maneuver your vehicle across ramps to get on the monorail and ferries.
