Even at times when I am not in the parks or a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth is still a few weeks or months away, I always get excited when I pull out my card for everyday purchases and see Tinker Bell smiling up at me! It helps me to stay in the magic!
While there are many perks to enjoy with your card, it does not include discounts on
theme park tickets directly. HOWEVER, you can use any Rewards Dollars earned through your purchases towards theme park tickets! This might feel like a pixie-dusted discount and is a great value for those bonus dollars! You will see the option to pay with your Disney Rewards Redemption Card as part of the purchase process!
Perks are always subject to change, but one that I personally enjoy is saving 10% on select merchandise purchases of $50 or more throughout the parks. I love using this one on special mementos that hold those memories forever! Another one of my favorite perks is the special
Disney® Visa® Cardmember photo opportunities located in Disney California Adventure Park. This is a private experience just for Cardmembers! You can strike a pose with some favorite characters, and the best part is that downloads of those photos are complimentary! You can find this spot near
Monsters, Ince Mike & Sulley to the Rescue in Hollywood Land! Be sure to check the times for this opportunity as it is usually just in the morning to early afternoon.
Lastly, you can sometimes find special promotions and offers just for Disney® Visa® Cardmembers on select
stays at the Disneyland Resort Hotels. On the Disneyland website, simply navigate to the "Places to Stay" tab and select "View Offers and Discounts" to see any current promotions. It looks like there is a special running through September 22nd if you are looking to be in the parks over the next month or so!
