Dear Shannon,
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I'm excited to know you may be planning an evening trip to the
Disneyland Resort.
There have been times when my husband and I have visited the Parks at night for a
dinner reservation or an occasional date night (without the kids)!
An evening visit to Disneyland will be fun and you'll still be able to enjoy many of the attractions, shows and fantastic dining options, especially during the summer months when the Parks tend to close a bit later.
At this time, the only ticket options available are those sold online. If you get a 1-day, single Park ticket, your ticket is valid for the entire day, regardless of the time you actually enter the Park.
Now, if you happen to be in town for a conference or work-related convention, there are special tickets called
Twilight Tickets, for guests who cannot visit the Parks during the day due to their work commitments but want to make a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth in the afternoon or evening, when they're done for the day. Again, these are exclusive to conference attendees and you will be required to provide information about your convention prior to purchase.
Fortunately, there are several other ways to get your Disneyland Resort "fix" that don't require a ticket!
For example, the
Downtown Disney District is a fun-filled Disney shopping destination where tickets are not required and you can enjoy Disney Parks exclusive merchandise and incredible dining options!
You are also free to hang out at the Disneyland Resort Hotels!
Have fun and See Ya Real Soon!
