    How much is the discount when you buy the magic band thru the resort after making a reservation (for example on a $44 magic band thru the disney store online)?

    Hi there, Rosanne, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so happy you've decided to swim over to be part of our world, where helping you with vacation magic is our favorite way to spend a day! 

    I absolutely love my MagicBand+! Of all my vacation gadgets, gizmos, and thingamabobs, my MagicBand+ is my favorite accessory! As a Guest at a Resort hotel, it holds my theme park ticket and Lightning Lane passes. It also allows me to charge food and merchandise, and even unlocks my Resort hotel room door! I will be arriving myself next week, and I'm super excited to use my MagicBand+ to become a bounty hunter in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge—something I haven't tried yet!

    Rosanne, since I have a few trips planned, I logged into my account to check the discounts available to me as a future Guest with a confirmed reservation. The available MagicBand+ styles and colors change frequently, and at the time I'm writing this, I have a selection of several solid color bands. These typically retail for $34.99, but my discounted price is $24.99. I also see themed options, such as Figment, Winnie the Pooh, and a super cute MagicBand+ featuring Alice in Wonderland, which I'm really tempted to order now. These themed bands usually sell for $44.99, but my discount price is $34.99.

    I'm not sure if you have your confirmed reservation yet, so let me tell you how to order your discounted MagicBand+. Once your Resort hotel confirmation is linked to your My Disney Experience account, you can click on "My MagicBands and Cards." This will bring up your discounted MagicBand+ offer, and you'll order from there. 

    You are welcome to order your MagicBand+ as soon as you make your reservation. As long as you order your MagicBand+ 11 or more days before your reservation, your band will be shipped to your home. If you order your band 6-10 days before your reservation, your MagicBand+ will be waiting for you at your Disney Resort hotel front desk.
