Hi Michaela!
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for sending your
Disneyland Resort Hotel U.S. Military promotional offer question to us hEAR. I'm an Air Force wife myself, and I'm happy to be your planEAR today!
Walt Disney loved the U.S. Military, so much so that he tried to enlist when he was under the legal age to do so! I'm very thankful that the Disney Parks still recognize and thank service members and their families to this day with their very generous vacation offers.
Disneyland Resort Hotel Rooms will be discounted anywhere between 20% - 40% off per night, with the actual amount depending on a few different factors like when you're checking in, how long you're staying, the type of room you select, etc. Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel usually ends up being the most wallet-friendly option but Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa offers a bigger discount. To both inquire about what the actual rate might be, as well as to book the promo, you have to call the Disneyland Resort Hotel Reservation Line at (714) 956-6425. Feel free to ask the Cast Member all the questions, like comparing discount availability between the three hotels for specific dates, changing the check-in dates by a day or two to see if that yields better results, etc. At the end of the call, they can either give you a quote that's usually valid for 24 hours so you can think it over, or you can go ahead and book your room by placing a deposit equal to the price of one night's stay. It's important to note that even though each hotel has hundreds of rooms, the three hotels only offer so many military promotional offers per night, so it's best to call sooner rather than later.
Hotel Parking is not included with your hotel room and is currently *$35 per night. The Disney hotels don't include a complimentary breakfast or even reception like a Marriott or Hilton might, but they do provide coffee makers and coffee supplies for each night of your stay. And while there are some hotel rooms at all three Disneyland Resort Hotels that do include access to a club level lounge that serves breakfast, light snacks, evening appetizers, and nightly desserts, these rooms can be very hard to book with a military promotion so close to your planned arrival date. (Not impossible, just very hard.)
If you're open to suggestions, Michaela, look into the
Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotels, some of which are located just as close to the theme park entrances as the 0.7-mile walk from Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel. There's even a search feature that can narrow down your options to which locations offer complimentary parking or included breakfast. Your best bet is to use the search feature to view your options but then go to the hotel's actual website to both see if they offer military discounts and to also book your reservation. Then all you need to do is buy your
Disneyland Military theme park tickets from your base/post, make your Park Pass Reservations and you're done!
I hope that this helped to clEAR your questions up, Michaela! Be sure to follow the
