After the disappointment that POFQ will be closed during our stay, we got an amazing bit of pixie dust, and were upgraded to CSR Destino Tower, water view! I suffer a touch of vertigo at very high heights, can I request a room on one of the lower floors?

    Hey there, Robert!

It's great to see you hEAR again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Robert, I stayed in the Gran Destino Tower at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort last December and loved every second of it! These rooms and the lobby are a gorgeous blend of Disney touches and Walt's collaboration with Salvador Dali. If you get a chance, make sure to stop by Three Bridges Bar & Grill at Villa del Lago for munchies in a one-of-a-kind setting.

Now, to your question, when you complete your online check-in, make sure to note your preference for a room on a lower floor so that you can avoid that very unpleasant vertigo! I would also recommend, since your room request is medical in nature, to call into the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line approximately one to two weeks before your vacation and ask them to note your request on your reservation.

Robert, I'm happy to hEAR about your upgrade and can't wait for you to experience the Magic of Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. I'll be crossing my fingers that more pixie-dust lands on your trip. Please come on back and see us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel for any other questions you might have.
