    Is there any disadvantage to purchasing your disney tickets up to a year and a half in advance?

    Hi Marty!

        Purchasing Walt Disney World Tickets in advance is a great way to save some money because if the ticket prices increase (they typically do increase at least once a year and sometimes more than once), you will have bought them at the lower price!  If the tickets are not ever used to get into a park in Walt Disney World, then they will be good until you use them!  Normally, tickets are good for 14 days from the day that you first use them to get into a Park in Walt Disney World unless you get the No Expiration Option which allows you to use the tickets on multiple trips to Walt Disney World.

         The only disadvantage that I see of purchasing tickets well in advance of your trip, is that you may forget where you put them!  My advice would be to definitely purchase your tickets ahead of time and make sure that you put them in a place that you are sure to remember when it comes time for your Walt Disney World vacation.
