Hiya, Ryan! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh boy, I could not be more excited to hear that you're planning a vacation to
The Most Magical Place on Earth! But first, let me truly thank you for your service. I know that service members and their families truly understand the meaning of commitment and dedication. As a military spouse myself, I believe that quality time is the best gift, and I can't think of a better place to spend that time together at Walt Disney World Resort!
Ryan, did you know that Eligible Service Members are offered great rates on
Disney Resorts Collection hotels and
Disney Military Salute Tickets? It's true! Eligible Service Members are active, retired, and 100% disabled members of the military and their spouses. If these are offerings that you'd like to take advantage of, all you need to do is call a Cast Member at (407) 939-7830 to see which resorts are available during your desired dates. Disney Military Salute Tickets can be purchased from your local base or through Shades of Green. My husband and I personally like to purchase our tickets through
Shades of Green because they arrive to us already activated and ready to go. Whichever way you purchase your tickets, you'll want to make sure that you do two things:
link your tickets to your My Disney Experience account and make your Theme Park Reservations using the
Disney Park Pass system!
I know you're looking into parking fees for Guests at Disney Resort hotels. After speaking to a Cast Member and reviewing the
Services for Guests with Mobility Disabilities, it appears as though
standard parking rates will apply for all Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel. If you have any questions about this policy or would like to speak to someone directly, you can reach out to one of the wonderful Cast Members at Disability Services at (407) 560-2547 or email disability.services@disneyparks.com. I'm so sorry, as I know this isn't the answer you were hoping for. However, there are designated parking areas available to Guests with disabilities at all Disney Resort hotels. I'm also happy to let you know that there is
Walt Disney World Bus Service available to Disney's Hollywood Studios from all Disney Resorts Collection hotels! Not only that, but additionally, the
Disney Skyliner is available to Disney's Hollywood Studios from Disney's Riviera Resort, Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney's Pop Century Resort, and Disney's Art of Animation Resort. You may also want to check out the other
Services for Guests with Disabilities so you know all options available to you! I've found Walt Disney World Resort to be wonderfully accommodating to make sure that Guests have the BEST. DAY. EVER!
I hope I was able to help you with your question today, Ryan! If anything else pops up, please visit us again. And remember - you've got a friend in me!
See ya real soon!
