Are disabled veterans eligible for the Military Salute 3 and 4 day passes? Is that determined by the disability percentage if disabled veterans are eligible?

    Hi Rachel,

    Thanks for visiting planDisney!

Disneyland is currently offering a Military promotional deal for active and retired U.S. military personnel. As you mentioned, you can choose from a 3-day or a 4-day promotional Park Hopper ticket. The promotion states that "Eligible Service Members" are active or retired members of the U.S. military. Unfortunately, this does not include veterans. I know that might be disappointing news, but there are still alternative ways to save on tickets. If you have access to a local military base, I recommend visiting the ticket office to check out the deals on standard Disneyland Resort theme park tickets. If you qualify, you could also purchase tickets through GOVX.com. Keep an eye out for future deals on the special offers and discounts page. Disneyland Resort is currently offering special tickets for the 70th Anniversary, which make an ideal alternative.

When planning your next trip, consider attending the daily Flag Retreat Ceremony. I have family members who are veterans, and one thing I always recommend is participating in this wonderful ceremony. Every day, Disneyland recognizes veterans from various branches of the military as the flag is lowered for the day at the Main Street Flag Pole. The Disneyland Band is present to play music during the ceremony, and I often see veterans connecting with each other afterward. Check the hours and events calendar to see what time the Flag Retreat Ceremony will take place on the day of your visit.

I hope this information is helpful, Rachel. I’ll be wishing on a star that you can join us in the parks real soon. If you have any other questions or need help planning, feel free to reach out to me or one of my fellow panelists. We’d be happy to share our thoughts.

    Happy planning!
