I am disabled but truly want to try walking the 5k on Castaway Cay. Can family member disembark with me and not do the 5k but wait for me? How long can I take to walk it and if I try and cannot complete the 5k will I still receive a medal?

    Hi Ronda,

Thanks so much for sailing by.  It's wonderful that you want to participate in the Castaway 5K.  Your family members are more than welcome to join you as you disembark the ship and head to the starting line.  They can explore the island, grab a lounge chair or enjoy the beach while you walk the course.  Or, they can simply hang out a the finish line and cheer  you on!  There is no time limit for the 5K, so take as long as you like.  If the Cast Members handing out medals are gone when you finish, you can simply head into the gift shop near the finish line and ask for your well-deserved medal.

Have a magical sailing and a great race!
