My disabled sister wants to celebrate her birthday at Disney. I am trying to find a hotel and park admissions package.

Hi Anna! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.

What a lovely plan to celebrate at the Happiest Place on Earth. We've celebrated many a family birthday and special occasion in the Disney Parks and it always makes for the best time and most lasting memories.

A Vacation Package combines your admission tickets with your stay in a Disneyland Resort Hotel or Good Neighbor Hotel and offers greater value to Guests. You can book these Vacation Packages online, but you can also speak to a helpful Cast Member on the Vacation Packages phone line, who will be happy to assist you in booking the trip and answering any questions that you might have.

One perk I love about staying onsite is Early Entry, and you can't beat the access to the parks. The Disneyland Monorail, which takes you into the heart of Tomorrowland in Disneyland Park, is close to the Disneyland Hotel and Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel have their own entrances into Disney California Adventure Park.

Disneyland Resort is dedicated to inclusion and providing all its Guests with the best experience possible. To that end, they provide services for Guests with disabilities. To speak with a Cast Member about these services and ask questions about the upcoming trip, please feel free to reach out to Disability Services. They'd be happy to be of assistance.

Finally, I have some tips for celebrating a birthday at the parks. Pick up a Birthday Button at City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park, Guest Services in Disney California Adventure Park, or at your hotel front desk. When people know you're celebrating, you never know what magic might happen! You can also purchase fun birthday ears at many shops in the parks. These are extra fun in Disney's PhotoPass photos that capture the moment. Booking a really nice meal can be a great way to mark the occasion. My top choices are Carthay Circle Restaurant on Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure Park and Napa Rose at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. Or maybe a Character Dining Experience is just the right thing? You can also add a Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake as a sweet treat to your meal when you book your reservation.

    I hope this helps!
