    Marie from FL Asked

I am disabled. I signed up at guest relations in January. Do I have to go again each time I go to one of the parks? Are we able to sign in for FASTPASS? Will the Magic Band I ordered for our guest be sent to me or Do we have to use Will Call?

    Howdy Maria!

Welcome to planDisney!  I know how important the Disney Parks Disability Access Service Card is to guests, and I am excited to help you with your questions!

The Disney Parks Disability Access Service Card helps guests enjoy a Walt Disney World Resort vacation like no other.  I love this benefit for many of my visits to the Walt Disney World Resort!  I see you signed up for this benefit in January.  The Disability Access Service Card is active for 14 days from your initial sign up.  You will need to resign up after 14 days have passed.  You will need to sign up at the beginning of your vacation, but you do not have to sign up daily.  To utilize this feature, approach the Cast Member at each attraction, and they will give you a return time and/or a specific entrance for you and your party.  I have enjoyed this feature with my grandmother, family members, and now I utilize it myself through the years.  This feature is very beneficial to ensure everyone can enjoy time together despite most disabilities.

If you have already ordered your MagicBands and have not received them, you still have time.  I have had my MagicBands arrive days before my family and I were scheduled to leave on a few of our vacations.  If your day to take off to Neverland comes, but your MagicBands have not arrived, then Hakuna Matata, No Worries!  Once you get to your Walt Disney World Resort, go to Guest Services, and they will provide you with a Key to the World Card.  This card offers the same functions as the MagicBand does.  Just make sure to have your Disney Park Pass Reservations ready for each day.

You will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during one of my favorite festivals!  The Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will be in full bloom!  I love all the beautiful colors, whimsy topiary displays, and so much more!  This festival offers something for everyone in every age group.

To stay up-to-date on everything to do and see while visiting the Walt Disney World, check out the Disney Parks Blog.  Also, if you have any more questions, please come back to planDisney!  We look forward to helping you with any future questions, Maria!
