Is my disabled husband able to bring his walking stick into both California parks?

Hello and welcome to planDisney, Michelle. Disneyland offers a variety of support and services to help make Guests' visits to the parks accessible and inclusive. This also includes allowing Guests to bring their own mobility devices to the parks, so let's chat more about how to ensure your husband's visit is comfortable.

When it comes to mobility devices, standard canes and walking sticks are allowed in both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. They will be inspected at security check before entering the parks and you shouldn't encounter any issues. To help prepare for your visit, I also recommend taking a peek at the list of items that are prohibited in the parks. The Guests with Disabilities Overview page on the Disneyland site is another great resource to see what services are available to make your visit more comfortable.

It looks like you'll be visiting during the Holidays at that Disneyland Resort. This is a magically wonderful time of the year to visit. Nothing gets me in a holly jolly mood like seeing the resort decked in its holiday best. And there's nothing quite like dancing in the snow on Main Street, U.S.A. Keep an eye on Disney Parks Blog as we get closer for all of the details on the festivities.

Michelle, I hope this helps as you're preparing for your trip. Let us know if there's anything else that we can help with before your visit. Until then, I wish you happy planning and a merry visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
