Hello Barbara,
Your great question simply jumped right out at me, as my own dear Mum suffered from severe lung conditions which required her to use a nebuliser whilst we enjoyed our family trips to Walt Disney World Resort.
In fact, I'm more than happy to share that travelling with my poorly Mum was as pixie-dusted as can be when we visited the most magical place on earth!
Barbara, the first thing I'd like to do is to offer some reassurance from my own personal experience, that I know you'll find Cast Members at
Walt Disney World Resort to be so very understanding of your disability, and also sensitive to your medical needs and requirements.
When it's time to take your periodic nebuliser treatment at Walt Disney World Resort, you will be able to utilise the convenience of the
First Aid Centers found within all the Disney Theme Parks, and also at Disney Springs.
It'll be a comfort for you to know that First Aid Centers at Walt Disney World Resort are staffed by qualified nurses (within normal theme park hours), and are fully air-conditioned spaces where Guests with medical needs can discover an oasis of calm and privacy.
Plus, if required, Guests visiting First Aid Centers may also purchase over-the-counter medications, band-aids, therefore allowing them to continue on with their Disney-day in comfort!
For your added information, when passing through
Disney Security at any Theme Park entrance, I would suggest explaining to the Cast Members assisting that you are travelling with a medically necessary piece of equipment. Barbara, I truly hope that I've been able to provide some valuable insight for you today. If you should have any further questions concerning your upcoming February vacation to Walt Disney World Resort, then please do pop back to
me here at planDisney.Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
