I have a disability plantar fasciitis, which has me in discomfort after relaxing/sleeping will it be possible to get rooms near the front of the resort? Will the gondolas be running from corando springs! Eric

Hello, Eric! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

As someone with accessibility concerns, I’ve actually had a very similar question myself when staying at Disney Resort hotels. I’ve always found Walt Disney World Resort incredibly helpful in regards to Guests with mobility disabilities and providing needed accommodations. Requesting a specific room is relatively simple and may be done by calling the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations Phone Line. A Cast Member will be happy to note any specific requests you have on your resort reservation and do their best to fulfill them. I would also be sure to state that this request is needed as a part of accessibility needs. It should be noted that room requests are never guaranteed though Cast Members will always try their best to make sure you receive the best room for your needs!

The Disney Skyliner is going to be an exciting transportation addition in the very near future! This gondola system will employ state-of-the-art technology in order to connect both Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot to Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, and the proposed Disney Vacation Club property, Disney’s Riviera Resort. Currently, the Disney Skyliner is set to begin operation in Fall 2019 so it is unlikely that it will be open in time for your June 2019 trip. However, this does provide you with an excellent excuse to schedule another vacation to Walt Disney World Resort after its opening!

Let us know if we can help you with any other part of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
