Disability Pass?? ...First time visiting since the pass changed, will the disability pass work for all FP+attractions including rides and character meet and greets? During the MVMCP will we be able to use the disability pass?

    Hi Kristen ~

Your trip will be here before you know it and I bet you are too excited to sleep already!

The Guest Assistance Card (GAC) has now been replaced by the Disability Access Service Card (DAS). You should be able to utilize the DAS at any locations that offer Disney FastPass+ service (FP+). Here are some details explaining how the DAS works. I have also included a list of Frequently Asked Questions about the DAS.

As far as using the DAS for special events like Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP), I have found it to be inconsistent. We have at times but this can vary as procedures may change. The theory is that because a limited number of tickets are available for each event evening, it lowers the crowd levels in the park so FP+ or the DAS isn't needed.

If the wait times are too long, you can try talking with a Cast Member at the attractions to ask for assistance. Just know in advance that sometimes they may accommodate you and sometimes they may not be able to at that time. Take a deep breath and try to understand that the Cast Member you are speaking with is not always in a position to accommodate you.

There are so many wonderful special activities unique to MVMCP that we try to focus on that we often find we do not need the DAS.

Please feel free to visit again with any other questions. We will be hEAR for you up until you embark on your pixie dusted trail!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
