My disability is with me for life. Why can’t that information be incorporated into my profile on My Disney Experience for whenever I book park reservations? Seems a simpler process than repeating the process each time we go to a park.

    Hi Camille,

Thank you for stopping by planDisney! We are delighted to welcome you to the magic!

It sounds like you are referring to using the Disability Access Service. My family has used this service before. It truly has made our park time much more manageable. Lucky for us, we just heard the announcement that there will be some changes to the Disability Access Service.

Since the service is specially for folks who cannot tolerate long lines, I never mind signing up each time we visit. It has never taken us that long to get signed up and, by the time we start using the actual service, I feel like we save so much time in line. I also appreciate that they allow us to add a select group of family members to the Disability Access service so that we can ride together.

Recently, the Disney Parks Blog announced the new Disney Genie service and, with that announcement came the news that some changes are coming to the Disability Access Service (DAS). When you visit again, I hope that you can use the service. If you cannot stand in the traditional queue, please express that to the Cast Member who helps you to enroll in the DAS.

Camille, keep an eye on the operational updates so that you can track any updates about the changes to DAS. Download the My Disney Experience Mobile App and staff safe. I do hope you have taken some time to review the other Services for Guests with Disabilities. We are so excited to welcome you to a world of magic!

    Magic and memories,
    Donyell
