Does the disability card work at waterparks too?

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jessica, such loyalty is greatly appreciated!

Walt Disney World Resort takes great strides to accommodate and afford all Guests inclusive, convenient and enjoyable touring experiences. My Autistic son thrives on each Disney vacation and we use Disney’s Disability Access Service during our visits.

Disney’s Disability Access Service is currently eligible at all four Disney Theme Parks, excluding Disney Water Parks, to offer Guests a return time comparable to the current queue wait time for an intended attraction. Given the popularity of Disney Theme Park attractions with many Guests, this system works well and can also be used in conjunction with Disney's FastPass+ service.

My experience at the Disney Water Parks has been that the lines move quickly, alleviating the need for a requested return time. The queues at the Disney Water Park rides were good opportunities for me to introduce waiting in a queue to my son, since they moved quickly with huge rewards at the end.

    Mom’s Tips:
-Arrive early and consider renting a private area such as the Beachcomber Shacks at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and the Polar Patios at Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park.
-Disney’s helpful Services for Guests with Disabilities offers great tips towards your planning.

    Magical Disney Wishes, Jessica!
