How do I get a DIsability access pass ahead of time

Hi there, Vanessa! Welcome to planDisney, where our goal is to help you plan for a Disney vacation that's practically perfect in every way.

You must be feeling super excited at the moment, because your Disneyland Resort vacation is only a couple of days away! How magical is that? But before you can begin the final countdown, you must get a few things done. As a Disability Access Service (DAS) user myself, I am honored to help you out today, my friend!

You must know this already, but if you don't, let me fill you in on what DAS actually is. DAS is a program offered at the Disneyland Resort to assist Guests who have difficulty tolerating conventional queue environments due to disabilities. If a Cast Member determines that you're eligible to use the service, you may pre-register as soon as 30 days and no less than two days before your trip. During this call with a Cast Member, you'll be able to book up to two return windows for select experiences.

Once you're ready to begin your pre-registration process, you'll need to head to the Registering for Disability Access Service (DAS) page on the Disneyland Resort website. Now, scroll down until you see a blue "Request Live Video Chat" button, and click on it. You should see a chat box pop up at the bottom right corner of your screen, where you'll be able to chat with a Cast Member and request a registration call.

Vanessa, there are a few things that I'd like you to keep in mind before you pre-register for DAS. First of all, the live video chat service is only available from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM PST, and the recording of the chat is strictly forbidden. Secondly, the Guest (or the Guest's guardian) requesting DAS must be at least 18-years-old, and they must be present during the call. Last but not least, the live chat is only available in English at this time.

I hope this helps, Vanessa! Don't hesitate to come back and ask us any other questions you might have about planning a vacation to the Happiest Place on Earth.

    See you real soon,
