Hi! Is there a way to get directions on the My Disney Experience App. We will be traveling from the Art of Animation Nemo rooms to Chef Mickey and I would love to know the fastest route and time for transportation! Thanks!

    Hi, there!

Welcome to planDisney, Joseph. I'm so happy you stopped by and even happier to hear you're planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation! It's the very best kind if you ask me.

You're going to love experiencing the Disney Resorts Collection. When you stay at a Disney Resort hotel, you stay IN the magic, even after leaving the theme parks! At Disney's Art of Animation Resort, you'll feel like you stepped right into your favorite Disney and Pixar films. You're sure to have a magical stay!

You ask an excellent question. I'm pleased to tell you that the My Disney Experience mobile app does feature a super handy "Get Directions" feature that syncs with the interactive map and list view. Start by tapping on the map icon at the bottom of the app home screen. Select "Resort Hotels" from the drop-down menu at the top of the screen. Zoom out to find Disney's Art of Animation Resort and click on the hotel icon. Tap "Get Directions" and then click on the opposing arrows so that Disney's Art of Animation Resort is listed in the "From" box. Enter "Chef Mickey's" in the "To" box to view directions between your hotel and the restaurant.

My family always dines at Chef Mickey's on the first day of our Disney vacations. It's become a precious tradition over the years! In my experience, the most efficient way to travel between our Disney Resort hotel and Chef Mickey's is to start by taking a bus to Magic Kingdom Park. When we reach the park, we hop on the Resort Monorail to travel to Disney's Contemporary Resort. Walking between Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Contemporary Resort is also an easy option, but we're always traveling with little ones in tow, so we've found that taking the Resort Monorail is more convenient.

I hope this was helpful, Joseph. Please let us know if you have any other questions about your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
