Is there a direct transportation option from the Polynesian Villas to Disney Springs? And if so, about how long does it take? Thanks!

    Hello Brianda,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I think Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows is an absolutely beautiful Disney Vacation Club Resort. We enjoyed our stay there on a recent trip and loved walking the Resort grounds, watching the Magic Kingdom Happily Ever After fireworks from the beach, and dining in the wonderful restaurants. Of course, the convenience of the Resort Monorail is a great perk. The Walt Disney World Bus Service does serve Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, and that includes service to Disney Springs. The bus service typically shares stops with Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. I'd say the bus ride itself takes approximately 25-30 minutes. In my experience, the bus routes can sometimes vary depending on time of day and desired destination. As a general rule of thumb, when I am planning travel time around reservations or a specific time arrival time, I always allow at least an hour for getting around Walt Disney World Resort. The convenient My Disney Experience mobile app now lets you easily see when bus service will arrive and makes for a great way to plan your travel. For direct transportation options, you could consider the Minnie Van Service, which is a fun way to ride in style directly to and from your Resort destinations.

Brianda, here's wishing you a wonderful Walt Disney World vacation.

    Enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
