What is the most direct way to get from Cabins at Ft. Wilderness to Olivia's Cafe?

Hey there, Michele. I'm excited to see that your vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth is quickly approaching. I love visiting that time of year. All of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks are dressed up in their holiday best. It's so much fun.

I really think you are going to enjoy staying at the Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. My family and I stay there every year for Christmas and have the best time. To get from there over to your dining reservation at Olivia's Cafe, you have a few options. Personally, I think using a ride-share service is your best bet. They can pick you up at the front of Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and drop you off at the lobby of Disney's Saratoga Springs. It's direct, timely and convenient. Both major companies service the area. I like to check both apps before deciding which one to use because sometimes there's a coupon or discount available. If you'd like to use the complimentary Walt Disney World Transportation, here's what I would do. I'd take the water taxi (found in the marina at The Settlement area) from Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground over to Magic Kingdom Park. From there, I would hop a bus over to Disney's Old Key West Resort. Because you will need to use two methods of transportation, I would give yourself plenty of time.

Have you ever dinned at Olivia's Cafe before? If not, you are in for a real treat, it is such a great meal. For breakfast, I really enjoy the banana bread french toast and Olivia's famous grits. They also serve a great Bloody Mary complete with shrimp and bacon. Then for lunch and dinner, I really enjoy the conch fritters and recommend them as a starter for your meal. I also really like the fried chicken and all of their salads. Really everything I have tried has always been great.

I really do think you are in for an incredible meal whether you are dining there for breakfast, lunch or dinner Michele. If you have any other questions before your trip, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm happy to help. Have fun and enjoy!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
