Hiya Eileen,
Welcome back to planDisney—how wonderful to see you again! And what a great question to ask as you get ready to dive into your next magical adventure.
Let’s jump right in! You’ll be happy to know that all
Disney Resorts and Disney water parks provide complimentary life vests for little ones around the pool areas. These are available on a first-come, first-served basis, but in my experience with my youngest, there are always plenty to go around—so no worries there! Therefore, there is no need to pack one; Disney makes sure your little voyager can splash safely.
Depending on where you’re staying, many Disney resorts also feature splash pads and kid-friendly water play areas, perfect for toddlers to cool off and explore. My youngest absolutely loves the Uwanja Camp at
Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village. It’s a mini water wonderland with three unique zones designed for different ages. At Observation Station, little ones can climb, play, and splash through gentle geysers and bubbling fountains—making it the perfect spot for your own little wayfinder to make waves!
While spending time by the pool, keep an eye out for the energetic Cast Members who host fun poolside games and activities throughout the day—it’s like a nonstop celebration! And if you stay into the evening, you won’t want to miss
Movies Under the Stars. There’s something so relaxing about watching a Disney classic under the night sky. The last time my family stayed at Disney’s Riviera Resort, we cozied up after a swim to watch Frozen, and it was the perfect way to end a pixie-dusted day.
Eileen, I hope this helps you feel even more prepared to pack for your magical trip! Wishing you and your little adventurer plenty of sunshine, laughter, and splash-worthy memories. If you have any additional questions, visit us again.
See ya real soon,
Christina
