Are there any dinning places that accommodate 9 people in Hollywood Studios?

Hey howdy hey Pat and welcome to planDisney! I am of the opinion that food in Walt Disney World Resort is an attraction itself because of the quality, variability and seasonal theming of the offerings. No matter what resort hotel or theme park you visit, there are those consistent favorites, but also so many unique offerings for the restaurant location. Hollywood Studios is no exception for great food and very unique atmospheres. I mean where else can you enjoy food and an experience from the 1950s as well as from another world on Batuu in the same theme park?

The other part about dining in Walt Disney World Resort are the accommodations that are allowed for each party and the whole crew. Many of the casual dining restaurants have some capability of handling larger parties as long as the reservations are made well in advance and space allows. As of this writing, you are able to make online dining reservations 60 day prior to your arrival in Walt Disney World Resort, but that is subject to change so keep an eye out for those details. I would highly recommend you try to get your reservation at 50’s Prime Time Cafe. This old-time dining experience is circa 1955 with authentic decor and TV programs to match. Make sure to try Dad’s Dazzling Drinks for the true experience but I would be remiss if I did not mention the Peanut Butter & Jelly Milkshake. Such a unique treat!

Looking for dining reservations for larger parties may be hard to come by, so I have a few tips to help navigate this and find those harder to get reservations. First off, all of the reservations can be made online with your My Disney Experience account 60 days prior to your arrival. Reservations open at 7:00 a.m. EST so make sure to get on close to that time 60 day out to have your best shot. Be flexible with the times you eat. The more popular times for main meals get taken up quickly and space is limited. Say you can handle eating at 4:00 p.m. instead of 5:30 p.m. for dinner. This might make it more likely that you will be able to get those reservations with everyone all together. The other possibility is dividing up your party into two smaller groups. This will make it much easier to get the more desired times at the restaurant you desire. When you check in, talk to a cast member to see if you are able to get both of the parties closer together. In a lot of instances, the cast members try to make this happen depending on how busy the restaurant is of course.

Good luck on your continued planning, sounds like you should have a really fun trip! If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out. We here at planDisney love talking all things Walt Disney World Resort, so let us know if we can be of further assistance.

    Happy planning!
