Lauren from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

If I am dinning at Ohana for dinner with a group of 14 people, multiple families, do they allow checks to be split?

Aloha Lauren, it’s great to have you here at planDisney!

I’m so excited to be able to lend my islander insight to anything relating to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and when it comes to the delicious dining options there I’m absolutely here for all of it! Having a big family feast over at ‘Ohana sounds exactly like the spirit of the islands and the whole meaning behind the name of this very popular restaurant and I’m glad to help ease any worries you might have ahead of your meal.

Never fear, you’ll be happy to hear that they do indeed allow you to split the bill between a larger party, if they don’t already anticipate it based on the size of your group. I had the opportunity to enjoy a delectable dinner there with my fellow planDisney Panelists and our brilliant server proactively asked us whether we would like separate bills, but it’s always a good idea to let them know early on to save them time - and we like to make sure to recognize and tip them accordingly if it’s especially complex for them to accomplish.

It can be so nice to enjoy dinner together with the family, and you just might be inspired like we were to embark on a Specialty Fireworks Cruise from the Polynesian Marina. (These chartered pontoon boats can accommodate up to 10 guests in each, so you’d need to divide and conquer across two of them for this experience to cap off your evening!)

I hope this was helpful Lauren, and that the Cast Member serving you at ‘Ohana doesn’t mind splitting the bill between families too much! Sail back over here to planDisney if you or anyone in your group is in search of any more answers or advice before your visit together!

Here’s to satisfying your group’s hunger with Hawaiian-inspired eats!
