if you have a dinning meal plan but it only gives you one table experience can you pay the difference

    Hi Yvonne!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I love to use the Disney Dining Plan as it offers so much flexibility across the whole Resort, at the theme parks, the Disney Resort hotels and select locations at Disney Springs.  You may use your dining plan from the time of check-in, when you will receive the total amount of dining credits for your whole stay, (if you use online check-in, this will be from 7.00am on your arrival day) until midnight on the day of your departure.  It is entirely up to each Guest how we use our credits - maybe using more on one day, and less on another.  If you want to use your dining plan at a signature restaurant that requires 2 Table-Service credits, you can choose to dine elsewhere another day at a restaurant that is less expensive, and pay cash for that meal.  At this time it is not possible to split payment of a Table-Service meal requiring 2 credits, by paying with 1 credit and cash.

If you find you have some dining credits left at the end of your vacation, it is sometimes possible to convert one Table-Service credit into one Quick-Service credit, and this could also be converted to 3 Snacks, but this is always at the discretion of the dining location or shop.  In the past I have been able to convert all my unused Dining credits into Snack credits at the gift shop of my Disney Resort hotel and have taken home bags of snacks and sweet treats!  Snack credits can also include fresh fruit, bottled drinks, including water, ice cream and a variety of bakery goods.  It's always worth asking.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions.  We will be happy to help you plan our magical vacation to Walt Disney World Resort.
