Alberto from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Hello, we have dinning card that came with our tickets, they note only redeemable at select participating food and beverage locations within Disneyland resort but unable to find a list of what these participating locations are.

    Hi, Alberto,

Lucky you! It sounds like you have a head start on a culinary kaleidoscope of experiences at the Disneyland Resort. I'm sure that gift card will come in handy!

I'm going to assume that your gift card is a Disney-branded Disney Dining Card. You can verify if that is the case by checking the balance of your card on the Disney Gift Card website. At the Disneyland Resort, general-purpose Disney Gift Cards can be used at any and all locations that are owned and operated directly by the Disney company. That is nearly all locations except for the restaurants and many of the shops in Downtown Disney District and a few other locations such as Ghirardelli in Disney California Adventure Park and Great Maple Modern American Eatery in Pixar Place Hotel.

Besides those few exceptions, a normal Disney Gift Card can be used basically anywhere else at the Disneyland Resort. Among those places that accept Disney Gift Cards, a Disney Dining Card can be used only at locations that offer only food and beverage items. For example, there are some shops, such as Bing Bong's Sweet Stuff and Candy Palace and Candy Kitchen that have a section like a snack stand but cannot accept Disney Dining Cards because they are still considered a merchandise shop. Otherwise, you should be able to use your Disney Dining Card at most other table service restaurants, character dining, bars and lounges, and quick service restaurants and snack stands. You can even use your Disney Dining Card when you place a mobile food and beverage order. Just select the "Add a Card" option and mark the "Disney Gift Card or Disney Dining Card" option to enter your card number.

Adventure is out there, Alberto! I hope you enjoy your dining adventures to come.

    Have a yummy time!
    ~Tony
