Are any of the dinner shows better for a just turning 3 year old then others? I wanted to pick 2 of the 3 dinner shows and can't decide which would keep her attention best. Hoop-de-do, Aloha or Mickey's Backyard BBQ.

    Hi Kristen!

I am a huge fan of all three of these dinner shows in Walt Disney World!  That being said, I will give you my opinion as to what shows would appeal to your three year old.  My first recommendation for you would be Mickey's Backyard BBQ because there it is picnic bench style seating with lots of room to run around outside and the kids get to dance with the Disney Characters up close and personal!  The only negative is that it is outside and if the weather is bad, it may affect your experience even though you are under a pavilion.  The Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue would be my next choice for you because it is very lively with lots of singing and dancing.  There is not a lot of room to move around and the show with dinner can take up to an hour and a half or more.  My third choice for you is the Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show which does have Hawaiian dancing and great food, but is the least interactive and engaging of these three dinner shows.

I hope that you and your family have a magical time at whatever dinner shows that you go to on your next trip to Walt Disney World!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
