Hey there, Julie! Welcome back to planDisney.
How exciting that you'll be visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth in 2024. My family and I are also planning a visit next year and before our trip we spend a lot of time talking about dining, so I appreciate your question. Julie, I love to pair dinner with a show, character interaction, or fireworks view. It just adds an extra sprinkling of pixie dust over an already memorable day.
Now, one of the most beloved dinner shows at Walt Disney World is found over at
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground:
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. This is a rootin' tootin' good time for everyone paired with some delicious country fare like fried chicken and strawberry shortcake. If you choose this option, make sure you leave plenty of time to arrive at this destination.
If you are looking for a dinner show at
Disney Springs, check out
Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant. My friends and I had the best night here enjoying the dancing, music, and ambiance. This is also a great choice if you have lighter eaters in your group as this is not priced per person, but a la carte.
If you would rather opt for a dinner show inside of a park, look no further than
Biergarten Restaurant. Located at the Germany pavilion at
EPCOT, this is buffet-style with a traditional polka band serenading you as you dine. You'll feel like you've been transported to a Bavarian village complete with German delicacies.
Julie, while not a traditional dinner show, character dining is another great option to maximize your meal time. No matter if you want to feel like royalty and
dine with Princesses or maybe
high-five Mickey Mouse at breakfast, there are great options in all four theme parks and at a variety of Disney Resort Hotels.
Finally, Julie, I would be remiss if I didn't share one last idea that includes my favorite form of entertainment: fireworks! While not dinner in the traditional sense, you can secure
seating with desserts at Magic Kingdom Park during Happily Ever After. When my family indulged in this experience, we embraced the idea of being on vacation, skipped dinner (opting for a few light snacks), and filled up on sweets while we watched the show over Cinderella Castle.
No matter what you choose, I hope you have a Magical time. Please come on back to planDisney with any other questions you might have. We love to see a returning guest!
