Which dinner show do you recommend for my family with kids ages 8,6,3,1? How much time do I need to schedule to attend a dinner show?

Howdy Kim.  Thanks for asking your question here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, we love to help.  I am so excited that you are wanting to experience a dinner show on your next trip to Walt Disney World.  I have enjoyed each dinner show at Walt Disney World and love them all but I definitely have my favorite.

For a rip roarin' slap the knee fun kind of night, I would recommend looking into the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Review.  This dinner show is great for the whole family!  Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Review is a 2 hour show that is located at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort.  The meal is served up all-you-care-to-eat style and is finger lickin' good.  Be prepared to enjoy an endless amount of fried chicken and BBQ spare ribs with all the fixins like corn, baked beans, salad and cornbread.  No down home BBQ dinner is complete until dessert is served, the strawberry shortcake is fantastic.  During the show there will be dancing and singing but most of all a lot of laughter.

If the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Review is a dinner show you think your family would enjoy, I would highly suggest making reservations for the show.  It is very popular and fills up fast.  Have a wonderful time on vacation and if you have any other questions, feel free to ask!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
