Hello! I have a dinner scheduled at 6:40 at Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary resort. I'm wondering if anyone has a clue on about how long it takes to get there from Magic Kingdom using the provided transportation?

    Hey, Kristen!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! There is nothing like having Mickey and the gang cook a fantastic meal for you at Chef Mickey's in the Grand Canyon Concourse of Disney's Contemporary Resort.

    You have two options:

    1. Take the 10-15 minute walking pathway from Magic Kingdom Park to Disney's Contemporary Resort. It will be to the left after you exit the theme park. If you don't see the Walkway to Disney's Contemporary Resort sign just ask a Cast Member for directions.

    2. Take Disney's "highway in the sky," the Walt Disney World Resort Monorail. This trip will take about 20 minutes including wait time and the ride but could be longer with heavy crowds.

Disney Dad Tip: There is a multi-story mosaic designed by Mary Blair (also designed the dolls in the "it's a small world" attraction) encircling the elevators in the Grand Canyon Concourse. She snuck in a 5-footed goat. See if you can find it.

Kristen, enjoy making many delicious and Magical Memories at Walt Disney World Resort.
