If i make dinner reservations for 4 and just 3 of us can go is that a problem or do i need to modify my reservations?

    Hi Alexandra,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

I’ve actually been in a position where people who were supposed to join us for a meal at Walt Disney World Resort were no longer able to do so, either due to illness that day or because they weren’t able to travel. I’ve never had a problem reducing the number of Guests for a given dining reservation; I simply told the host or hostess who greeted us when we checked-in for our reservation that there were fewer people dining with us and they were able to accommodate our reduced party size.

If you know that a member of your original group definitely won’t be able to join you for your upcoming dining reservations, as a courtesy to your fellow Guests, I strongly encourage you to modify your dining reservation in the “My Tickets and Reservations” section of your My Disney Experience account. Once you click one any of the dining reservations that you’ll see listed there, you’ll be able to change the number of Guests in your party and even change your reservation time, availability permitting.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions about your upcoming vacation.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
