Hi Ronda,
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this great question!
The official start time for either Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party or Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is 7:00 p.m. It sounds as though you will be visiting Magic Kingdom Park during the day, then having dinner at
Tony's Town Square Restaurant at 6:45 p.m.
As long as the time of your dinner reservation is before 7:00 p.m., you will be allowed to remain at the restaurant until the conclusion of your meal. This will be the case, even if you didn't purchase the special event tickets. Hence, there is absolutely no need to rush your meal either. So, go ahead and enjoy a leisurely dinner at Tony's Town Square Restaurant.
All of the above being said, once the clock strikes 7:00 p.m., Cast Members will check to see if Guests walking around the park have the party ticket wristbands for the special event taking place that night. If you do not have them, then they will graciously escort you to the park's exit. But again, you won't be asked to leave Tony's Town Square Restaurant in the middle of your dinner. In other words, Cast Members are more than happy to allow day Guests to finish up a meal or a shopping transaction as the park closes and the ticketed event begins.
I hope you found this information useful, Ronda. Please visit us again here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with all your questions. We are more than delighted to sprinkle a little pixie dust on your Disney vacation plans, and help you discover the true
Power of Magic.
