We have dinner reservations at a restaurant in Epcot at 8:50PM. The park says it closes at 9:00PM. There are extra magic hours from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM which we are not part of because we are not staying at WDW resort. Will they let us stay to eat? Thanks!

    Hi Marianne,

No worries! You will certainly be welcome to keep your dining reservations and enjoy a leisurely dinner at Epcot.

During Extra Magic Hours, guests who are staying at Walt Disney World resorts are allowed to enjoy the rides and attractions exclusively. You would need a MagicBand tied to a resort room to take a spin on Test Track or a flight on Soarin', for example, between 9 and 11 p.m. But you will not be asked to prove you are a resort guest to be seated for your dinner or as you walk through the park to the exit when you are finished.

Dining at Epcot is one of my favorite Walt Disney World activities. So I'm sure you will have a relaxing, delicious meal to cap your day at the park.

Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you as your visit nears. Enjoy!
