Hey there, Dawn, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the panel with your question! It’s great to see you here gearing up for your Boo-tastic visit to Walt Disney World! You have to admit, that’s a pretty good dad joke!
Dawn, the short answer to your question is: it depends. If you have
Disney Park Pass Reservations for Magic Kingdom Park and plan to be in the Theme Park that day, you should have no problem getting to your dinner reservation. For most of
Mickey’s Not-so-Scary Halloween Party nights,
Magic Kingdom closes to daytime guests at 6 p.m. EST. But if you are already in the Theme Park, you can just head over to your dinner reservation before the park closes to Guests without a party ticket. And party or no party, I always suggest arriving at dinner reservation locations at least 15 minutes ahead of time. But if you are not planning to already be in the Theme Park, I am unsure if you’ll be able to gain entry to Magic Kingdom if you arrive close to 6 p.m. EST because the park will be closing. So my suggestion to make sure you make your dinner reservation is to arrive at Magic Kingdom Park a few hours before your dinner reservation to hang out and see the sights! Spend some time in Adventureland or take a leisurely ride on the
Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover. Once your tummy starts grumbling, just head on over to your dinner reservation location and enjoy your meal. Please also keep in mind that since the Theme Park is closed for a ticketed event, you will be asked to immediately leave the park upon exiting your dinner reservation.
I hope this helps, Dawn! If you have more questions while planning your Disney Vacation,
stop back by and let me know!
