Hi Ginger! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
You will be viewing exotic animals and enjoying the relaxing atmosphere of
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge very soon! The last time my family and I stayed there, we enjoyed searching for "hidden Mickeys" around the resort. We found a lot, so keep your eyes out for them during your stay!
The thought of dinner at
'Ohana in Disney's Polynesian Village Resort has me drooling. I could make an entire meal out of just the Pork Dumplings tossed in Garlic-Ginger Sauce. They are SO yummy! To make your way to this delicious meal, you can use
Walt Disney World complimentary transportation. Hop on a bus from your Disney Resort hotel that is heading to Magic Kingdom Park. Then transfer to the Resort Monorail. When on the monorail, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort will be the third stop, so "Por favor manténgase alejado de las puertas," and just enjoy your monorail journey! When you disembark the monorail and enter the second floor of The Great Ceremonial House, 'Ohana will be straight ahead. I would allow 1-1.5 hours of travel time to make sure you make it to your reservation in plenty of time. If you arrive early, take a moment to explore this Disney Resort hotel ... it is beautiful!
If you want to get to dinner with less travel time, you can use
Minnie Van Service, a taxi, or another ride-sharing service. There is a minimal cost with each of these options, but they will definitely get you there more quickly.
I hope this helps, Ginger! Please let us know if you have any other questions
