Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Brittany! I just returned from a visit to the Disneyland Resort where I had the shrimp and grits at Café Orleans. It was my first time having that dish and I can easily say that I am hooked! It was beyond delicious!
Dining reservations at Disneyland Park on nights when
Mickey’s Halloween Party takes place are only available until an hour before the party begins. The only exception is the special dinner package at
Blue Bayou Restaurant that happens on party nights and includes reserved viewing for the Frightfully Fun Parade. Mickey’s Halloween Party tickets are required in order to enjoy this dinner package.
So, if you would like to dine at
Cafe Orleans on a night when the party is taking place, you can feel free to book a reservation for an early dinner. If you have Mickey’s Halloween Party tickets for that evening, you can enter the park three hours prior to the start of the party to enjoy your meal. Then you can experience all the spooky fun after your bellies are delightfully full. If you do not have tickets to Mickey’s Halloween Party that night, you will be asked to leave the park by the time the party begins. If you have Park Hopper tickets you can head on over to Disney California Adventure Park at this time, or perhaps venture into the Downtown Disney District for some shopping.
I hope this clarifies things for you. Have a spooktacular time at the Disneyland Resort!
