For dinner reservations. I know they will charge you if you don't cancel within 24 hours. If you have a part of 5 and one person can't make it do they charge for that?

    Hi Jennifer!

Thank you so much for sending your Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning questions to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We're all Ears!

Of the many, many, many things I love about visiting Mickey and his pals, one of them is how flexible even the most magical of well made plans can be. While I hope you don't need to adjust the numbers in your advance dining reservations, should someone (or two or three) need to sit out, you'll simply inform the Cast Members at the check-in podium at the time of your arrival and everything will be fine. As long as at least one guest in the reservation stills arrives, your group will not be charged the per-person no-show fee. Three of my best mom friends and I took our collective five preschoolers to Mickey's house, and out of six dining reservations made months in advance, the entire bunch of nine only made it to two of them. Things happen while traveling, especially as you soak up all kinds of fun, or the sun (or both!) and Disney is very understanding.

Dining Reservations where full-payment is required at the time of booking, like Cinderella's Royal Table or my favorite dinner show Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, do however need 72 hours advance notice to receive a full refund. Should you find yourself within this three-day window and have a cancellation come up for one of these locations, it's best to call the Walt Disney World Resort Dining Reservations phone at (407) 939-3463 or speak with the Concierge at your Disney Resort Hotel.

And should you need to cancel your dining reservation completely or move around your scheduled FastPass+ attraction reservations, that can all be done from your My Disney Experience Mobile App.

I hope you don't need to use any of this information, Jennifer, but I'm so glad that you asked. You're really doing your resEARch and I'm sure you'll have the best vacation ever! We'll See You Real Soon!
