If we have dinner reservations at a hotel, does the shuttle get us there? we will be staying at art of animation...

    Hi Kristin,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.

When it comes to making dinner reservations at Walt Disney World, I always find my biggest challenge is simply deciding where to dine. There are so many great dining experiences to choose from, and many are located in Walt Disney World Resort Hotels.

Walt Disney World Bus Service will provide transportation from your resort hotel to the theme parks, water parks, and Disney Springs. My best suggestion is to check with a Cast Member at Disney's Art of Animation Resort simply because you'll want the most current information during your stay and bus routes and schedules can be adjusted.

Typically, though, to get to a resort hotel restaurant, you'll want to travel on the bus to the nearest theme park and then make your way to the restaurant. For example, if you're dining at 'Ohana, you could take the bus to Magic Kingdom and then either take the Monorail or water taxi over to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Another option would be to take a bus to Disney Springs and from there take a bus to the resort where you're dining. Again, a Cast Member can give you the best route when you let them know where you're heading.

The Minnie Van Service is another great and really convenient option for traveling to resort restaurants.

    Enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
