Hi moms! We have dinner reservations to Hoop de Doo Musical Revue at 7:15pm. What would be the best way there from Boardwalk? Drive or Bus hop? And how much time should we allow to make sure we are on time? Thanks!

Hi, Theo! If you have a car, I would strongly recommend you give yourself that freedom and driving. But if you are considering renting a car for the sole purpose of getting to the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue for the BoardWalk Inn, then I would suggest you not go to that much trouble. The Walt Disney World Resort prides itself on making sure that Guests can maximize their time having fun. One way to do this is to provide reasonably efficient transportation. From the BoardWalk, you have a couple of options: 1. Catch a bus to the Magic Kingdom and board a bus to Fort Wilderness 2. Take a bus to the Mgaic Kingdom and take a water launch over to Fort Wilderness. This would be my vote, as Pioneer Hall (Home of the Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue) is relatively close to the boat dock. Since wait time for buses and boats is around 20 minutes or so between each "appearance," count on waiting 40 minutes for your transport. I would probably head out two hours before the show; if you arrive earlier, there's plenty of sights to see and things to do. If you drive, you probably leave BoardWalk Inn an hour before, because you'll need to take Fort Wilderness transportation from the front of the Resort to Pioneer Hall in the back. Have a rootin', tootin' trip! See you later, celebrator, -Deborah B.
