Hi Nicole,
Welcome back to planDisney! I’m so glad you brought your question to planDisney so you could clarify your plans for your Magic Kingdom visit.
Be Our Guest is a popular dining experience, from the food to the atmosphere. I feel like I notice new details during each meal.
According to the Walt Disney World website, the Be Our Guest dining experience on
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party nights requires a separate ticket to the Christmas party. Magic Kingdom closes to regular day Guests at 6:00 PM on party nights. These dining reservations are available from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on party dates, so you would not be able to keep your 6:20 PM dining reservation without a party ticket.
You can modify your dining reservation within the My Disney Experience app or on the Walt Disney World website. Visit your dining reservation and select “Modify.” You’ll be shown a list of available times on the current date of your dining reservation. At the time I am writing this answer, I see several times available on December 7, so hopefully you find one that works for you!
Since your Magic Kingdom day will have an early end at 6:00 PM, I recommend taking a little time to visit the
Disney Resorts to check out the Christmas décor. Contemporary Resort usually has a gingerbread display, where you can also buy holiday treats. Wilderness Lodge also has a beautiful Christmas tree in their lobby. Last year, I visited the Beach Club to see their gingerbread carousel display and buy some Christmas cookies. Of course, if you have
Park Hopper tickets, you could also choose to enter a different theme park that is still open for the evening.
I hope this helps, Nicole! Enjoy your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World! Please come back to see us at
planDisney if you have any further questions.
