How do I make dinner reservations and fastpass selections using MyDisneyExperience if I'm not staying at a WDW resort? We are staying at a downtown disney resort.

    Hi Scott!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Our family has found that the Downtown Disney hotels are a good way to enjoy Walt Disney World Resort on a budget. And you will still be able to utilize the convenience of the My Disney Experience website and mobile app to plan your vacation! Dining reservations can be made online or in the app starting 180 days in advance. If you are online, simply select your restaurant, find a table and then you will be prompted to log in to your My Disney Experience account, if you have not already done so. If you make your reservations over the phone, they will ask for your My Disney Experience email address so they can add your reservation. Finally, existing dining reservations can always be added to your My Disney Experience account using the dining reservation number. Once your reservation is linked to your account, you will be able to see your reservations in your plans.

For FastPass+ reservations, you need to link your Theme Park tickets to your My Disney Experience account for each member of your family. From there, you can reserve FastPass+ experiences for your party up to 30 days in advance. I love being able to use the mobile app during my trip to keep track of all of our plans for the day. It makes keeping track of our schedule so easy!

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
